On June 5th, we gathered again for the 3rd Annual Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show.  Once again, all Show proceeds benefitted the Boys Republic in Chino Hills.  Over $37,000 was raised!

The Boys Republic was credited by Steve McQueen in turning his life around.  Chad McQueen, Steve's son, joined Gearheads to celebrate cars and Steve's memory in support of the Boys Republic.

A wide variety of cars, from Porsches to Mustangs, Cobras to Minis were there celebrating Cool and driven to help kids.

In addition to raising money, the Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show has endeavored to bring attention to the work of Boys Republic and how they are helping youth to become productive citizens.

Boys Republic is a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian school and treatment community for troubled youngsters. Since its founding in 1907, it has guided more than 23,000 at-risk teenage boys and girls toward productive, fulfilling lives.  Boys Republic and its companion program, Girls Republic, help children in desperate need find within themselves the resources and skills to begin meaningful lives on their own.  Boys Republic's central school and farm is located in Chino Hills, California and maintains residential and day treatment centers in other communities.

The Boys Republic offers their renown Della Robbia Wreaths each Fall. If you would like to purchase one and support the Boys Republic, please visit their website at boysrepublic.org.

A huge gratitude goes to all the club members who volunteered their time to help out and make the day the success it was.
